Let’s Have an Art Camp

Project Description:

This art camp called art link was organized by a group of practicing visual arts teachers in conjunction with a university. The teachers harnessed the space, facilities and skills of the university and avoided the expensive cost of expensive costs of a venue.

The students had an added benefit of working in a university atmosphere with tutors who were experts in their field. The tutors and teachers worked together on programs to ensure that the students would receive maximum benefit. The students’ fees covered the cost of the tutors and other expenses. The State Education Department paid the cost of the teachers’ involvement through a regional scheme. The camp was called Art Links.
